As White Night gets set to take over the Bendigo CBD on Saturday 1st September, there's plenty of red to enjoy during the day, red wine that is....

The Bendigo wine region is well-known for its bold shiraz and cabernet with a climate perfectly suited for these two varieties. But our region is now carving an exciting reputation for Mediterranean-style wines such as sangiovese, nebbiolo and monastrell. There's plenty of rosé to enjoy, and white wines as well - think chardonnay and pinot noir, riesling, sauvignon blanc and sparklings.

You'll find lots of Bendigo wine on the menus of local restaurants (shout out to all those supporting eateries), and plenty of cellar doors open this weekend, read on...
