CROWDS enjoyed an afternoon sipping Bendigo wines in the sun, with the city's beautiful heritage sites and food thrown in the mix.

Seven venues served central Victorian wines as part of Bendigo Heritage Uncorked, an event devoted to walking wine and food.
It was a culmination of a week of wine during Bendigo Uncorked Week.
Bendigo Winegrowers Association President, Wes Vine, was among the winemakers offering up his wares.
Mr Vine said the crowd had shown a real interest in the characteristics of the region's wines.
"They'll ask you a lot of questions ... about the wines, and why this wine has this characteristic. It creates a lot of interest in the environment that the grapes grow in," Mr Vine said.
"The region tends to produce red wines, the fruit tends to be quite forward in the wine, it doesn't have other characteristics that mask the fruits.
"Our wines have been quite successful in places like China because they like that fruit forward characteristic."
